Generally the thicker the links in the construction of the chain, the sturdier the links.

The styles we'd recommend for everyday wear are:

- Shooting Star Chain
- Fine Figaro Chain
- Bold Figaro Chain

We believe that a bit of care and common sense can go a long way. Although our other styles are daintier, they are still suitable for everyday wear as long as they are well cared for.

Avoiding contact with any substances that may damage the materials (e.g. chemicals, perfumes, sunscreens, lotions etc...) as well as avoiding undue stress (e.g. tugging and snagging from physical activities) will help prolong the life of your chain.

All of our pendants are designed to fit on our chains.

We cannot guarantee that our pendants will fit onto chains from other brands.

All of our jewellery is crafted in either solid gold or sterling silver. We don't do any plated or filled pieces so that means our jewellery is waterproof and won't fade or degrade with contact to water.

You are safe to wear them in water, but to keep them in the best condition make sure you clean them or rinse with clean water afterwards. Ensure they are securely attached to your ear to avoid any accidental loss in any of these environments.

Lastly, please avoid wearing them in chlorinated pools and hot tubs, as the water is chemically treated and may damage either the metal or gemstones over time.

It is possible that chains may stretch over time. Gold and silver are malleable materials so they can be stretched if pressure is applied.

Avoiding situations where your chains may be tugged on or accidentally snagged (e.g. physical activities, sleeping, exercise etc...), will help to avoid this from happening and prolong the life of your chain.

We have a vast selection of chains ranging from 16 inch / 40cm to 24 inches / 60cm. The length you choose may depend on your body, the clothes you wear and where you like your chain to fall on you.

Everyone is different, so the best way to figure this out is to get a piece of string, measure it out at a particular length and drape it around your neck to see how it falls.

We've included a visual representation of different length chains in the accompanying diagram - but please note, everyone's bodies are different and the lengths may fall differently on you.
